Faculty & Staff

Dr. Abey Peter has worked with Hospital Ministries India in Kolkata as Programme Coordinator after finishing preliminary theological studies leading to B.Th. in 1999. He then earned his B.D. in 2003 from the Senate of Serampore College, Serampore and joined IPC TSK. In 2008, he completed his M.Th. in Christian Ministry, specializing in Counselling, from the Union Biblical Seminary, Pune. He did his doctoral research on "Psychological Correlates of Identity Transition among New Religious Converts in Kerala: An Integrated Approach of Pastoral Care and Counselling" and earned PhD from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture Technology and Sciences, Allahabad, in 2022. Along with his administrative and teaching responsibilities at IPCTSK, he serves as the Director of the Resource Center for Counselling and Psychotherapy and as the lead pastor of Gethsemane Church, Manganam. He is married to Dr. Ancy John, who is also a faculty member of IPC TSK, and they are blessed with a daughter, Navya.

Dr Joseph John hails from Tiruvalla, Kerala. He completed his M.Div. from Southern Asia Bible College, Bangalore in 2005. He was involved in Pastoral Ministry in association with IPC Karnataka for three years. In 2009, he completed his M.Th. in New Testament at the South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies (SAIACS), Bangalore. He taught at the South Asian Institute of Leadership and Cultural Studies (SAILCS), Coimbatore, for two years. He joined IPC TSK in 2011, and in 2022, He completed his PhD. in Theology (New Testament) from the University of Mysore. He is married to Sulu, and they are blessed with a daughter, Irene.

Rev. Sajive Abraham obtained his B. Com in 1993 and B.D. in 2002. He worked with World Vision as a social worker for four years, and later, for a year, he worked with the Bible Society of India. He was a lecturer at India Baptist Theological Seminary, Kottayam, for two years and joined IPC TSK in 2003. He earned his M.A. in Christian Studies in 2006 and M. Phil. in 2010 from the University of Madras.  He is pursuing a PhD in Gospels & Hermeneutics from M.G. University.  He is married to Biji and blessed with a daughter, Caris and two sons, Kevin and Johan.

Rev. Andrews E. Moses earned his B.A. in Political Science in 1988. He later did his B.Ed. in 1992 and worked as a high school teacher in Kerala and Mumbai for several years. He earned a B.D. in 2005 from NTC, Dehradun. He completed his M.Th. in Church History from UTC Bangalore in 2012. He is married to Biji, and they are blessed with a daughter, Abiah and a son, Abin.

Dr. Ancy John completed her B.Th. from Faith Theological Seminary Manakkala in 2003 and B.D. from Gospel for Asia Biblical Seminary Thiruvalla in 2006, respectively. She then acquired her M.Th. in Homiletics at UBS in 2009. She taught in the Student Wives' Program at Union Biblical Seminary, Pune, and engaged in the ministry in different capacities. She completed her doctoral studies at Asbury Theological Seminary, USA, in 2021. She is married to Dr. Abey Peter and blessed with a daughter, Navya.

Pursuing PhD from Asia Pacific Theological Seminary, Philippines Rev. Reji Thomas hails from Mavelikara, Kerala. He obtained his B.Th. and M.Div. in 1998 and 2001 respectively. He also earned his M.Th. in Church History from South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies (SAIACS), Bangalore, in 2005. He worked in North India for six years before he joined IPC TSK in 2012. He is married to Nisha, and they are blessed with a son, Steve and a daughter, Shekhena.

Rev. Manuel T.D. hails from Idukki, Kerala. After obtaining a B.A. in Economics from M.G. University, he pursued his B.D. from the Senate of Serampore in 1996. He was then enrolled in the teaching and pastoral ministries with the Sharon Fellowship Church in Calicut, Kerala. He earned his M.Th. in Old Testament from Gurukul Lutheran Theological Seminary in 2002. He is an ordained minister of the Sharon Fellowship Church. He is married to Sherly, and they are blessed with a daughter, Rinumol and a son, Rijomon.

Mr. Samuel Eapen hails from Chengannur, Kerala. He obtained his B.Th. and B.D. in 2003 and 2008, respectively, from Gospel for Asia Biblical Seminary. Subsequently, he worked in various mission fields across India in association with Gospel for Asia. Thereafter, he completed his M.Th. in Christian Theology from FFRRC Kottayam and joined IPC TSK in 2012. Currently he is pursuing Ph. D at MLCU. He is married to Aexa Samuel.

Rev. C.P. Thomas hails from Kangazha, Kottayam. He earned his B.Th. from New Life Biblical Seminary, Cheruvakkal, in 1999 and then started to work as a librarian there. He has also worked with Campus Crusade for two years. Then, he obtained his M.Div. from AIT Bangalore in 2004. In the same year, he joined Filadelfia Bible College in Udaipur, Rajasthan. He ministered in North India for nine years. In 2011, he acquired his M.Th. in Missiology from the Union Biblical Seminary (UBS) Pune. He joined IPC TSK in 2013 and is also involved in the leadership of the IPC Purvanchal Mission. He is married to Shanty and they are blessed with two sons, Aaron and Alan.

Rev. Thomaskutty P. P. hails from Kottayam, Kerala. He completed his B.Th. from Central India Theological Seminary (CITS) Itarsi, Madhya Pradesh in 1995. He was involved in Missionary work in Ranchi, Jharkhand, in association with Indian Evangelical Team for three years. He completed his M.Div. from New India Bible Seminary (NIBS) Paippadu, Kerala in 2002. He was involved in Pastoral ministry in Kuttapuzha Christian Assembly, Tiruvalla from 2000-2007. Having completed his M.Th. in New Testament at the South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies (SAIACS), Bangalore, in 2011, he taught at the Mission India Theological Seminary (MITS), Nagpur and Maharashtra for two years. He joined IPC TSK in 2013. He is married to Saly, and they have a daughter, Andrina Ann Thomas.

Mrs. Saly Thomas hails from Wayanadu, Kerala. She completed her B.Th. from New India Bible Seminary (NIBS) Paippadu, Kerala, in 1993. She completed her M.Div. from Gospel for Asia Biblical Seminary (GFABS), Kuttapuzha, Kerala, in 1998, along with a B.A. in Sociology from Calicut University. Thereafter, she was engaged in the ministry in various capacities in GFABS from 1998-2004 and later in Kuttapuzha Christian Assembly from 2005-2007. Having completed her M.Th. in Pastoral Theology & Counselling at the South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies (SAIACS), Bangalore, in 2011, she taught at the Mission India Theological Seminary (MITS) Nagpur, Maharashtra for two years. She joined IP C TSK in 2013. She is married to Thomaskutty, and they have a daughter, Andrina Ann Thomas

Rev. Augastin T comes from Nazareth, Tamil Nadu. He completed his B.Th. in 2001 and M.Div. in 2006 from SABC, Bangalore. He has worked as a missionary in Bihar with Assemblies of God of North India and as an associate pastor in the Tamil District Council of SIAG. He earned his M.Th. in Christian Theology from SAIACS in 2021 and joined IPC TSK the same year. He is married to C.S. Padmavathi and they are blessed with two daughters, Charis Miracle and Shekinah Praise.

Pr. Prathyash T. Mathew has worked as a volunteer staff with Excel VBS ministries in Kerala during his B.Th. and M.Div at IPC TSK from 2011 to 2017. He then worked with IPCNR-Delhi and Church of God Vadasserikkara as an Evangelist. In 2021, he earned his M.Th. in Pastoral Theology from SAIACS, specializing in Counselling and joined IPC TSK the same year. He is married to Riya Mathew, who is a software engineer. Along with his role as a faculty member, he serves as the associate Director of Jeevan Jyothi Counselling Centre.

Dr. Anila Anna John hails from Puthupally, Kottayam. She has over 20 years of experience as a Teacher Educator at M.G. University. She is married to Mr. Dilip K John, who is a businessman. They are blessed with two married children: Surya, a counselling Psychologist and Richie, doing his Ph D in Economics from the University of Essex, UK.

Rev. Roy Baby hails from Adoor, Kerala. He completed his Bachelor of Theology from Bethel Bible College, Punalur, in 1994, he was involved in a church planting mission with Assemblies of God in North Kerala (1994-96). He earned his M.Div. from Southern Asia Bible College (SABC), Bangalore, in 1998. He was involved in Pastoral ministry in Kerala with Assemblies of God for a few years. Having completed his Master of Theology in Old Testament at South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies (SAIACS), Bangalore, in 2002, he taught at IPC Theological Seminary Kottayam (IPCTSK) from 2002 to 2008. Then, he was involved in Pastoral ministry in the USA and Kerala in association with Light of the Nations Church (2009-2019) and served as its National Director. Later, he taught at Peniel Bible Seminary, Kezhillam, Ebenezer Bible College, Kaduthuruthy, and Mount Zion Bible Seminary, Mulakuzha, part-time (2019-2024). He re-joined IPCKTS in 2024. He is married to Liji, and they are blessed with two daughters, Reah and Rayna.

Pr. Shinu John is a diaspora Keralite, born and raised in Vadodara, Gujarat. He earned his B.Th degree (2001-2005) from Gospel for Asia Biblical Seminary (GFABS) and served in its administrative staff for two years. After completing BD (2007-2009) from Gurukul Lutheran Theological College and Research Institute, Chennai, he joined Jesus Mission as a missionary in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh (2009-2014). From 2014 to 2016, he was involved in prayer ministries and part-time teaching at Fellowship Ashram Theological College, Silvasa, and Alpha College of Theological Studies, Anand. He acquired his M.Th in Religions (2016-2019), specializing in Hinduism, from South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies (SAIACS). He lectured at Susamachar Theological College and Seminary, Bhopal, from 2019-2024 and has joined IPCTSK. He is married to Mrs. Elizabeth Shinu, who is also a faculty member at IPCTSK and has two blessed daughters – Elriana Rachel Shinu and Evana Mariam Shinu.

Mrs. Elizabeth Shinu Served as administrative staff with NTC (2011-12). She then served as a Missionary with Jesus Mission in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh (2012-2014). She served as a faculty member at Fellowship Ashram Theological College, Silvassa and Alpha College of Theological Studies, Anand Gujarat (2014 -16) and at Susamachar Theological College and Seminary from 2019 to 2024. She is married to Shinu John, and they are blessed with two daughters, Elriana Rachel Shinu and Evana Mariam Shinu.

Th D In New Testament, Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram, Bangalore Dr. Lalu Thomas is a native of Mavelikara, Kerala. He has around four decades of pastoral ministry experience among different ethnic groups. He taught at India Christian Bible College and served as Academic Dean/Vice Principal for nearly two decades. He is engaged in pastoral training using various modes of training, providing leadership to the North Indian church-planting ministry, and training native missionaries in the northern states of India. He is married to Susan Lalu and they are blessed with two sons, Willy Rehaboth and Jeswin Rehaboth.

Prof. K.C. John hails from Pampady, a nearby town in Kottayam, Kerala. He possesses more than 37 years of experience teaching English. He is retired from Bishop Moore Institution, Mavelikkara.

Mrs. Salikutty Roy hails from Tiruvalla, Pathanamthitta. She has earned Praveen of Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha (Kerala). She started her career as a high school teacher in Madhya Pradesh and joined IPC TSK in 2005. She has nearly 25 years of experience in the teaching field.

Dr Idicheria served as a staff worker of UESI (Union of Evangelical Students of India) from 1979-83 & 86-7. He has also worked as Assistant Director, TAFTEE & General Secretary of ICPF (Inter Collegiate Prayer Fellowship). Since 1997 he served as Professor of New Testament at South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies (1997-2002 & 2010-19). He is one of the founding members of IPC Theological Seminary at Kottayam where he served as principal from 2002-2010. He is an ordained minister of IPC, Karnataka Region and served as president of IPC Jharkhand State Council. Currently he is the chairman of ESAF Foundation.

Dr. Joy hails from Ranni, Kerala. He completed his B.Th. from COTR Theological Seminary, Vishakapattanam in 1998 and worked as a missionary with Jesus Mission Damoh, MP. Later in 2001 he graduated from COTR seminary with an M. Div. He was involved in training Pastors with the Indian Evangelical Team in Indore, MP (2001-2002). Then he joined at COTR as a faculty and taught there for two years. After his M.Th from SAIACS (2004-2006), he joined the faculty team of IPC Theological Seminary Kottayam in 2006. He served the seminary as the Dean of Academics and Chaplain. He then moved to the UK to pursue his doctoral studies in 2013 and now holds Ph.D in Theology with a focus on the Pentecostal and Charismatic Movement. Currently, he is associated with Transformation Church in the UK as a Church minister. He is also a guest teacher at IPCTSK. He is married to Anju and they are blessed with two children, Jeffrey and Joeline.

Testament at SAIACS since 2016. He is also the Specialization Head for the New Testament in the Department of Biblical Studies. Before joining SAIACS, he served as Assistant Professor of New Testament at Luther W. New Jr. Theological College, Dehradun (2005-2016), and as Managing Editor of the Doon Theological Journal (DTJ) from 2008-09 and 2012-16. He is married to Anjana, a high school teacher, and they have two daughters, Joanne and Janet.

Mrs. Anu Thara Thomas served as a course coordinator and teaching faculty member at the TRADA Institution of Social Sciences, Kerala. During this period, she also served as a Counsellor at TRADA Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts (IRCA) (2020-2022). She serves as a counsellor at Jeevan Jyothi Counselling Centre and as a lecturer in psychology, personality development, and life skills. She is married to Mr. Jiby Abraham

Mrs. Carol Idicheria served the UESI in Kerala as a staff worker from 1983-84 and in the Teaching Training Department from 1986-87. After her return from Oxford she taught with TAFTEE, and later at Kodai International School. She served as a full-time faculty member at IPCKTS from 2002-2009.
