Distance Education Programs

• Four years for the secular bachelor degree holders. 

• Three years for theological bachelor degree holders.     

• Applicants must be born-again, committed Christians, having a definite call to serve God, passionate about the study of God’s Word with the intention of being effective in their domain of ministry.

• Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree from any recognised university or a Bachelor of Theology or equivalent either from ATA or SSC with a minimum B grade.  

• Master of Divinity program is comprehensive, comprises of 60% foundational courses and 40% specialisation courses. The foundational courses cover areas, including Bible, Church History, Theology/Ethics, Practical Theology, Ministry, Pastoral, Mission, Christian Education and Religions, ensuring a well-rounded theological formation.

• Ninety credits for four years Master of Divinity program. 

• Sixty credits for three years Master of Divinity program.

• Subjects are offered in a six-week-long modular system.

• Subjects are offered following the Cohort system.  

To apply for the Master of Divinity at CDL, the applicant may send or upload the following;

• Application for Admission, duly filled, with a passport-size photograph affixed.

• Copies of Self-Attested Secondary School Certificate, +2, and degree certificates. 

• A short testimony of the applicant.

• Recommendation Letter from the Local Church Pastor. 

• Consent letter or mentor form from the Character Supervising Mentor.

• Consent letter or Supervisor from the Ministry Supervisor.

• A non-refundable admission fee of Rs. 2500/- (Rupees Two thousand five hundred only) through Credit/Debit Card.

• Students must fulfil all the requirements as per the demands of the academic council of the Non Residential Department and ATA. Apart from the credit requirements, the components of character formation, spiritual development, and ministry commitment are also assessed for the graduation.
